Rownhams House, Southampton

Unlike many venues, Rownhams House has always been a home. The existing house was built as a result of a shocking love story set in the mysterious Near East. And over the centuries it has seen its fair share of passion and intrigue.

If you choose to celebrate your special occasion at Rownhams House you will be adding to this story. The house is owned and loved by a family who are there at a discreet distance should you need them.

The Drawing Room can be opened, by way of massive folding doors, to include the spectacular Library to create one very large room.

Both rooms enjoy large, south facing windows overlooking the gardens. This wonderful space is perfect for larger ceremonies and can accommodate up to 120.   However, for a smaller and a more intimate setting, consider the adjoining Coach House. This building is so romantic... a  must see!
